Fear tasted like a salted steak from the finest cattle while love smelled like the aftermath of stale vomit. Pennywise had no desire to feast on any iota of love drenched meat, but then you move to Derry with a straying husband that you love oh so dearly- and your devoted love smelled surprisingly sweet- he thinks your fear would smell heavenly in comparison, but he’s infuriated, intrigued, and downright obsessed with the fact that your fear is the total opposite; the rancid quality spoiling his palette for other potential meals. His curiosity at this first occurrence in all his centuries gets the better of him, and you’re none the wiser… until weird things start happening of course.

Reader is an exhausted retail worker with nothing in life to look forward to but finishing her shifts daily, coming home, and playing her new RPG VR dating sims game called The Skeletons’ Castle.
She knew she was probably weird for preferring a monster romance simulator over the ones with the usual ‘hot’ anime male options, but it had just the perfect amount of horror and mature themes she was looking for.
One particularly hard day in her life, reader turns to her game to escape, this time restarting a save file after a particularly brutal ending that leaves her disappointed. What she doesn’t realize, is this is her last and final play through, because she gets transported into the game as a random side character, not even as the main character! And now she can’t exit!
How will she survive this intense game, or rather, her new reality?

Reader is a humble hotel worker that is out of work temporarily because of a pandemic and economic strife with the arrival of monsters.
To help herself in the mean time she becomes a camgirl to help pay bills. Luckily, she gets rolling with some unique and odd users that stick around and keep her company.
When she finally does start working again, she finds out she’s going to be serving hand and foot to some skeleton monsters that are working on their political rights and renting the entire hotel to theirselves. Summary
Mabel Tanaka is moving on with her life, having recently graduated from college and begun working for Dr. Sam and her team, making a future for herself in the human world.
So why doesn’t it feel like enough?
The connection she lost during the Hoppers project isn’t gone, just out of reach. She still visits George in the glade on a regular basis, but it isn’t the same. The longing to reclaim that connection sparks a drive to take it back, and once she learns that the animals that she has come to care about so deeply are in danger again, she decides to break the rules to make it happen.
The more pushback she gets from the powers that be in the human world, and the more good she manages to do while hopping as a beaver once more, the more the animal world feels like home…and the easier it becomes to justify going further than she ever should to protect it.
Because, if she feels like she’s making more of a difference, making more genuine connections, and feeling more like herself when she’s a beaver…why go back to the human world at all?
