In the dim torchlight, he was little more than a massive shadow melting out of the rough-cut stone passage, his height and breadth filling the entirety of the passage. The sound of his heavy breathing echoed through the corridor she'd stumbled down, and she could see his bovine-like nostrils flaring with each exhale and his broad, horrifyingly human-like chest swell with every inhale.
In the dim, flickering torchlight, his long, curved horns and dagger-like fangs glimmered and the tip of his fleshy tongue darted between them as his lips curled back, and for a brief moment, his bull's snout looked distinctly canid. . .
. . . and hungry.
He was monstrous in every sense of the word.
And she knew she was about to die.

Had you known that Bakugou’s request toward you as you both held onto your diplomas and in graduation robes would lead to something else, you wouldn’t have teased him so much for his choice of words. You had honestly assumed he was going to become one of your classmates you’d only see at reunions and hero meet ups. But now having him directly in front of you, with cheeks painted in a soft rose hue and averting your eyes you realized that this was real and he was trying to find a way to still see you on a regular basis.
If you had known back then would be the start of the both of you dating you would have tried to confession your own feelings before. But yet, dating, becoming engaged to, and eventually tying the knot with the Bakugou Katsuki was something you only dreamed about. A dream soon to come to be reality a good five years after graduating UA.
You both had come to see each other as more than a simple UA crush and rather a devoted and loyal partner. Everything seemed on track and nothing was going to knock either of you down or shock you to your core. And then came the change seen in two pink lines crossing each other as you held the white stick in your hand.
