And it’s driving Caine insane, he wants to be able to read Kinger like an open book, understand him like nobody else could. He needed to get to the bottom of this, get to the bottom of Kinger’s abnormal behavior immediately. No matter how he needed to do so. ☆

Even so, perched like a spider about to devour the small prey caught in its web, Kinger felt no fear.
On the contrary, a twisted part of him wanted to know more about how he managed to end up like this.
He truly deserved punishment.
“Caine, stop!”
Kinger’s cry caught Caine’s attention almost instantly, and he turned with hellish agility to look him in the eye. In his many hands were the other humans, pressed against the wall in a way that made Kinger’s heart clench. They struggled and grunted (likely in pain) as if that would have any effect on the monstrous figure above them.
God.
This was their God.
Or, what if Kinger confronted Caine in his monstrous form at the end of episode 8?
