I am writing these characters from an aged-up perspective. They are portrayed as older adolescents, even though they are younger in the original storyline. Also, if you’ve watched The Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, or Teen Wolf, then you understand how teen relationships are portrayed. So let’s not make this a debate.

Shikamaru and Temari will be the main relationship; however, I will also develop and showcase other relationships. I plan for the story to reach a minimum of 100,000 words, and I will update it as I go. For now, the story begins one month before Hinata and Naruto’s wedding.
Temari will be stationed in Konoha permanently as a diplomat for the Sand Village. She begins forming friendships with Hinata, Sakura, and Ino, and her relationship with Shikamaru gradually develops.
Please note that I will try to keep this accurate to canon, though I will take some liberties with the plot and smut. For example, all relationships among the main cast (except Hinata’s) are still developing.

When logic fails and rational thought reaches its limits, there can only be one plausible reason: feelings are involved. From a logical standpoint, he has no chance with her: Temari was popular, successful, and came from a wealthy family.
