She had been ailing when they reached the town, plagued by a sharp, nagging cough Dunk did not like the sound of, likely brought on by several days of rainy travel. They had been headed northeast, towards King’s Landing, for the landed knight they had served for the past three years had little need of septas after his daughters came of age to wed.
Well, Dunk had been more maidservant than septa, it was true, and mayhaps she had never really said the right vows, but it hardly mattered, did it? She wore grey robes, for white showed stains too readily, and carefully veiled her hair, which she kept cropped to her chin to make it easier to tend to. Septa Arla always said a maid of her size would always stand out and attract trouble, so she ought to let the Seven be her shield.

Despite what his outward code of conduct would have you thinking, Jaskier knows when he is not wanted.
He allows himself the exact amount of three days of wallowing in that small town before he packs his meager possessions and hits the road like nothing happened. In those three days he sings and dances for his food and drink, fucks the pretty barmaid and sleeps off the hangover before heading out in the morning of the fourth day. He travels alone for the first time in a while but it’s alright.
Now, if only people would stop telling him that the Witcher asks about him - that'd be swell.

Edric Stark, second-born of Lord Eddard and Lady Catelyn Stark, is a gentle creature, though desperate to squire for Robb when he calls the banners. Instead, his Mother appoints him squire to Brienne of Tarth: a a lady. Through his dismay, Edric learns to work with his new role, and to understand (and maybe even relate to) Lady Breinne's difference from the rest of the war camp.
(Or, Boy!Sansa has some quite untimely gender questions when he is squired to a stern lady-knight)
