Summary
Miya Atsumu gets hit by a car, trapped in fox form, and rescued by Sakusa Kiyoomi.
This is inconvenient for many reasons.
Sakusa thinks he has taken in a difficult, dramatic and suspiciously intelligent fox. Atsumu lets him think that, at first because he is hurt, then because he is afraid, and finally because being cared for without being fully known feels safer than risking rejection as himself.
But Sakusa’s quiet house stops feeling empty. Atsumu starts wanting to stay. And eventually, being loved as something less than himself is not enough.

Summary
When they were younger, they used to bully Kiyoomi. They would tug on his hair, snatch up his new things and pass it around, sometimes even trip him.
When they grew up, and Kiyoomi started gaining height, their bullying shifted to that of ‘harmless teasing.’ They would always make seemingly friendly jabs, but Kiyoomi always heard the malice in their tones. They were never ‘half-joking.’ They meant it.
He hated them all.
And he hated Atsumu Miya most of all.

Summary
Atsumu finds himself staring out the window from his bed that night. The burning of the forest is bright in the night sky. It was haunting how the orange lit everything. Deep shadows were cast in comparison to the flames. He could make out the movement of bodies at the edge of the forest. Likely people from the village trying to keep the flames contained. He can just barely make out the wide movements of someone using magic to whip water around.
He sits with his knees to his chest, blanket wrapped around his shoulders and watches. If Osamu wouldn’t kill him, Atsumu would be out there helping contain the fire. But he would, so he sits. And watches. Atsumu watches as men and boys are out their fighting for the protection of the village. At one point he can catch were the fire jumped from the woods to the straw roof of a home on the edge of the trees. He stays up most the night, watching until the flames are contained back to the forest.

Atsumu is drawn to the ball of fire that falls from the sky. When he inspects his favorite clearing, Sakusa is not what or who he's expecting to find.

“Um, hello?” he calls out before walking further. He thought they’d meet at a bar or maybe even the thief’s apartment, but this is just… shady. “Ya here? I want my phone back.”
“You mean this?”
Atsumu whirls around, clutching Osamu's phone to his chest in surprise. In front of him, twenty feet away, stands a man his age, all broad shoulders and curly hair. Holding his phone in his hand, a smirk on his face. “Beginner’s mistake, leaving your phone in your back pocket.”

Summary
Atsumu comes from a long line of vampire hunters. It's what he was born to do. He and his brother have sworn to protect the city of Osaka from the demons stalking its streets at night, and for most of their lives they've done a really good job.
It's tough, then, that one of his best outside hitters turns out to be a vampire.
Atsumu is nothing if not resourceful, though, and he knows he can figure out a way to keep Sakusa Kiyoomi both on the team and off the streets.
It's possible. It just may not be smart.

Summary
Miya Atsumu forgets to submit his room request form and ends up stuck in a room with Sakusa Kiyoomi, irritable, private and a wheelchair user who explicitly asked for a single room and was denied it anyway.
They clash over everything: noise, boundaries, independence, and the fact that Atsumu cares way more than he should. Between basketball practice, Bokuto’s unexplained beef with the guy and Atsumu’s growing confusion about why his roommate matters so much to him, enemies slowly turn into something softer.
Forced proximity was never the plan, but neither was falling in love.or
Miya Atsumu gets stuck rooming with Sakusa Kiyoomi, a wheelchair user who he is opposites with in every way possible. How ever irritation slowly turns into care and then somehow love.

Summary
There’s the loud shriek of tires braking on pavement, the rumbling of an engine, and he only manages to pry an eye open after a few moments pass, and he hasn’t been turned into roadkill. The hood of the car sits an inch away from the flimsy metal barrier where they stand. Kiyoomi’s heart is hammering in his chest, all the while the crowd roars around him. Rin is smiling at him, tugging his limp hand in the air, cheering like they didn’t almost die.
After a moment, the door swings open, and Kiyoomi watches as a pair of black high-top Vans emerges. Tan, toned legs, baggy shorts, a loose Ramones T-shirt, even tanner arms, messy blond hair, and an arrogant grin.
Hot.
That’s Kiyoomi’s first thought.
“That’s Atsumu,” Rin says, as if it’s not obvious by his wide smile.
His second thought is even more eloquent than his first.
Fuck.

Summary
Kiyoomi took a stealing breath as he wrapped his fingers around its handle, and slowly pushed the cabin door open.
Idiot.
The ax made a horrible clunking sound as it hit the floor.
The blood outside was nothing compared to the mess inside. A trail of blood was splattered all across his wooden floor, pooling on the white wolf pelt in front of his fireplace.
Miya Atsumu sat upon it, his left arm dangling uselessly by his side, a piece of cloth tied haphazardly around his bicep, and what was surely to be a deep gouge. The pressure was doing little to stop the bleeding.
“Hey, sweetheart. Yer late for dinner.”
He was sweating and shivering, and he looked extremely pale from the blood loss. But still, he smiled at Kiyoomi with one of his obnoxious, cocky grins before promptly passing out.
