Lee doesn't think too hard about how his sandals begin slipping as he runs, just adjusts his weight to maintain his momentum forward. That is until he's slipping forward multiple meters before he's able to stop and turn to find the source of the loud, sharp *crack!* that splits through the air. Before Lee can focus, the sound is followed immediately by a plunging splash of water and the skittering of sand coming from where Gaara had been positioned in their envoy. Where his sand remains but he is nowhere to be found.

Summary
Mary unleashes on him, brass meeting Archangel skin and sparking, hitting again and again until she is gradually pushing Lucifer towards the glowing rift between the two worlds. With one final blow, he stumbles backwards into the light, grabbing Mary’s left arm and pulling her with him.
“No!” Sam calls, reaching out and grabbing Mary’s right arm firmly. He jerks her back towards him with such force that Lucifer loses his grip and he falls backwards and disappears into the rift. Mary stumbles into Sam’s arms as the tear closes and disappears. Sam and Mary stand staring at each other breathing hard.
“Fuck. That was close.” Sam pants.
Mary nods. She looks over to Dean who is staring at her. He nods once before breaking eye contact and looks down at Castiel.
“Oh shit.” Mary whispers, taking in the sight of the angel lying dead in front of them. “Dean - I -.” She begins before a bright light from the second floor of the house steals her attention.
Alternate Ending for Season 12 Ep 23: All Along the Watchtower where Mary isn't sent to the bad place, Cas comes back sooner rather than later (shh spoilers!!) and Jack gets to be a baby.

Ace began to hum an unknown melody. The notes left his throat hesitantly, lightly dancing around the room as they brushed past Marco’s ears.
The sound of his soft voice brought a gentle tingle up Marco’s spine. A small part of him wanted to sing along. He shook his head gently, not against the idea, but saddened as he didn’t know the song.
The song continued to weave its way through Ace, beginning to take form. Deliberately, he tied together a few pleasant notes at a time, a sweet melody emerging, caressing the air around them both.
No longer truly looking at his paperwork, Marco listened closely, the threads of the song tying together in his mind. Goosebumps raised along the back of his neck as his voice acted of its own volition. He hummed an accompanying melody of his own, perfectly in harmony with the one that breezed between Ace’s lips, his voice deeper, but no less enchanting to any who may happen to catch it in passing.
