Summary

Moving to Stardew Valley turns out to be exactly what Shiro needed. A wink from Xue Yang further disrupts Mo Xuanyu's equilibrium. "What's wrong? Don't wanna spend time with a delinquent like me?"
Despite being lightly spoken, the words are serrated, warning Mo Xuanyu to tread lightly. He eyes Xue Yang warily, expecting a trap.
"I…wouldn't mind," he finally says, slowly.
Xue Yang hops to his feet, light and limber, and extends his right hand to a shocked Mo Xuanyu. His grip is tight when Mo Xuanyu takes the offered hand, but Mo Xuanyu doesn't mind because it feels grounding and real in a way he can't quite articulate. Weighing his options for a private place to talk, the only spot that comes to mind is…
"My bedroom?" he asks, realizing too late how forward the offer sounds.
A knowing grin spreads across Xue Yang's face, making Mo Xuanyu prepare to backpedal, but Xue Yang just says, his eyes turning into crescents, "Sure! Lead the way."
