The zombie apocalypse has been running its course for about three years when Shouta Aizawa's reclusive lifestyle is interrupted by the arrival of recently-unkidnapped (although there are a few people who would certainly disagree with that) Yamada Hizashi, a man who is neither able to control his destructive quirk nor remember an entire year of his life.

Summary
THIS IS THE REWRITE FOR "CLASS 1-C's HORSE"
Brainwashing was invisible, no real sign of its presence on his body, nothing about him changed. Though his pupils being white held new meaning to it, sure it made him feel nauseous when he saw them in the mirror. But he can ignore it and instead focus on his ears and tail. He can stare at his family photos, and be fine even if he looked out of place beside his parents.
He wants people to pay no mind to his hair nor his dead eyes. He'd rather they see him as just an animal, as long as people don't look at him like that just because of his less than desirable quirk. It made it all the more easier on his heart that it stays that way.
Shinsou was born with a heteromorph quirk that gave him the physical features of a horse. Categorized under the mutant quirk “Horse Power", he hides his less than desirable quirk “Brainwashing” by hiding behind his more physical appearance. After Shinsou fails to get into the Hero Course, his classmates in 1-C come together to help him win the Sports Festival for the hell of it.

After the U.A. Sports Festival, Shinsou Hitoshi expects nothing to change. That’s how it’s always been—effort noticed, potential ignored, and results that never seem to matter.

What starts as correction becomes consistency. What starts as mentorship begins to blur into something neither of them has words for yet.

In other words: Shinsou gets pulled into Aizawa’s training after the Sports Festival, expecting it to be temporary like everything else in his life—but the consistency doesn’t stop. What starts as mentorship slowly turns into something closer to being taken in, and neither he nor Aizawa fully realizes how it’s going to evolve beyond just training.

Hitoshi groans as he opens his eyes. He stays still for a moment, waiting for the pain in his head to disappear. Obviously he isn’t that lucky and it only dulls vaguely. He pushes himself up and into a sitting position, his vision still slightly blurry. A shiver rakes through him and he quickly bends down and pulls on his shirt from yesterday, memories of the night before coming back.

Summary
After an accident in their third year of high school turns their throuple into a couple, Aizawa Shouta and Yamada Hizashi, wracked with grief and guilt, decide to go their separate ways after graduation. For six years both men bend over backward to avoid even hearing about the other until fate has enough and forces the two together again not through their new mutual job but through their kids who formed an unbreakable bond within an hour of knowing each other. Now the two have to suck up their feelings toward one another for their children's happiness but that doesn't mean they have to be mature about it.
Or two dumbasses who refuse to admit their true feelings, two “friends” who resort to becoming wingmen to end the torture, and two kids who are oblivious to it all.
