“Actually, I think I’m the reverse of your situation.” Andrew slides his hand in his pocket, fiddling around for his cigarette box and drawing it out. “My parents split too, when I was five, except my Mom was the one who got saddled with me.” He pulls out his lighter, and notices her eyeing his cigarettes. “Want one?”
“It’s alright.”
“Split?”
“Nah.”
“Shotgun?”
Ashley stares at him for a second, eyes wide, before letting out a cackle. Andrew takes a drag of his cigarette, grinning at her, before blowing the warm smoke away. Yeah, he didn’t really think he’d get away with that one - he'd literally just met this girl ten minutes ago.
There’s a brief pause, the smoke lingering in the air. “I mean… if you’re offering.”
Andrew nearly chokes on his cigarette.

What if instead of barely getting along, the Graves family liked each other but they were also all assassins?
This story is basically a what if scenario about what could happen if Renee and Douglass went through with killing Grandpa Graves and never stopped killing.
Andrew and Ashley still become a couple, but thanks to the family's murderous lifestyle the parents abandoned any hope of being seen as normal long ago, and thus don't care what they do together.
