Summary
Severus ate the peach like no one was watching. Or at least if he didn’t care one iota if they were. His world was narrowed to this lucky-as-all-hell peach.
Hermione, on the other hand, was absolutely watching. Transfixed. Leering. Her mind instantly in places it shouldn’t be as he slurped up juices from the flesh.
There was a hidden art to how he was eating this peach. A reverence for it. The damn thing being devoted to as if it was his first meal in months.
The wizard’s eyes were closed, his mouth nearly suckling on it as he took another wet bite. The plush softness of the fruit crushed against his mouth. Fingers wrapped around the fruit, visible juices dripping down his fingers and then his wrist.
___
or Hermione is jealous of a peach. :P -

Summary
It was at the end of the academic year that she led him away. Her hand brushing his and then fingers slipping between as she pulled him away from the path the rest of the faculty were taking to drown themselves in copious brews to forget a particularly riotous group of third-years.
Down they went, walking into a small valley before reaching the lake, near a twisted few trees giving shelter from the bright sun.
“What is this?” His voice soft and uncertain as she turned to face him, those lovely curls framing her face in a way that begged him to kiss her pink lips.
“Us. If you want it?” Her reply was raised in a question.
A question he answered by stepping forward until her back pressed into the tree, his head dipping down enough to capture her is a long overdue kiss.
He kissed her like a man who had longed for this very moment for more days than he was able to count, lips and tongue and teeth and breath all mashed together without careful finesse.
This was a breaking apart. A coming together. A melding of bodies that had been circling the inevitable for months.

Summary
“Why do you wear it?”
She repeated her same answer but her voice was now shaking, “The sprites help with creative thinking.”
Barty raised a dark brow, fixing her with an annoyed look she’d seen him use when Mundungus tried to redirect meetings. “You’re more honest than that, little Luna. Try again.”
He was right. She was. Or at least she used to be until it became too hard to tell the truth when the dark had seeped in. Luna didn’t want to answer his question. It itched too much deep inside to reveal this.
She let the space stretch out again in silence until he scoffed and shifted as if to move away.
Grabbing an arm to hold him there, needing him to stay now more than ever, she whispered, “I don’t know how to not wear them.”
“Better,” he praised, rewarding her as his warm hands settling back on her thighs. The heat radiated from right above her knees to a place that made her want to squirm and whimper, images of him touching her higher up flooding her mind.
