The morning after that night in Karai Bari, when Miss Nami learned that Crocodile had fed Luffy in the night, she had covered a laugh behind her hand and said, “Well, enjoy reaping what you’ve just sown, buddy.”
He’d just given her a flat, unimpressed look. “All I did was make a few extra of the sandwiches I was already making for myself. That hardly seems like the sort of action to invite consequences, even where Straw Hat Luffy is concerned.”
But she’d just grinned and swanned off, leaving behind a smug, “You’ll find out,” as she sent her captain off to find the rest of their crew.
Luffy, excited to see Crocodile again after bonding with him on their visit to Karai Bari, launches them into the jungle, where the pair have to go back the long way. While their crew search for them and Luffy has a grand adventure in the jungle, Crocodile decides this is a great time to have an existential crisis about the baby he left behind.

Luffy stood at the bow, his hair whipping in the impossible wind, his eyes bright with something between excitement and determination. "Everyone hold on! We're going through!"
"Through what?!" Usopp demanded. "There's nowhere to go through!"
"Through everything!" Luffy's grin was manic now. "This is just another adventure!"
"Your optimism is going to kill us!" Usopp wailed
But Luffy wasn't listening. He was already moving, his body stretching and warping in ways that only Gear Five allowed. "Everyone! Get behind me!"
"What are you going to do?!" Jinbe demanded.
"Punch it!".
"YOU CAN'T PUNCH LIGHT!" Usopp shrieked.
And Luffy, Luffy wasn't listening—
"—CHAMPION BAZOOKA!"
His fists connected with the beam of light.
And the world exploded

It's finally Luffy's long-awaited 7th Birthday and everyone is coming to dawn to celebrate! Drake is returning to Dawn with Shachi, Penguin, Bepo and bringing back Great-Uncle Doran with them. Roci will be along shortly thereafter and even Usopp and Banchina are coming to visit for the party!
And Shanks promised to be back from his latest trip for the party, so Luffy is excited!
Otherwise known as Frya will return Bepo to Zou even if it's against her father's wishes, Luffy will have The Best Birthday, and everyone realizes that even if they aren't related by blood, Luffy definitely takes after his grandmother.
(This will be a birthday no one will ever forget.)

Garp's being punished by being sent to the North Blue, but, as always, he makes the best of it and comes out two brats and a bear richer (his command may be considering a mutiny, but eh).
Roci was just on a supply run and while Law insisting to come was out of the ordinary, he wouldn't complain about more vacation time with his brat. The sudden emergency patient was not his idea, but he wouldn't refuse Law's desire to practice medicine. But my, does the mother and son duo have quite the impressive noses.
(Otherwise known as Foosha is about to get several new residents, temporary and otherwise.)

If he were still in the habit of keeping a detailed medical logbook, Crocus would have started this past week’s entries with the line: I seem to have lost my little-remaining sanity.
In a span of six days, he’s gone from being alone with Laboon and his lighthouse duties, to a full inundation of teenagers and children claiming to be mentally adults (with hardly a lick of maturity or good manners to be seen), one functioning vessel beside the ramshackle remnants of what essentially amounted to a raft of scrap metal and sailcloth (which of course fell to pieces the moment they came screaming down the long slope of Reverse Mountain), and his own awakened memories of a future which has not yet come to pass, and now likely won’t, thanks to meddling from his aforementioned ‘guests’.
It’s the most entertainment he’s had in years.
