    Having a Tac-Net embedded in one's processor causes new and exciting mental health complication.

    Ones that can be mitigated by carefully scheduling a repair cycle on one's own coding every decivorn. Needing 38 days of complete, uninterrupted rest every 8.3 years isn't that bad, seeing how powerful the Tac-Net was.

    But in a war, it can become hard to fit in between crises. Especially since Prowl's Leader consistently prioritizes his moral high-ground over making sound strategic decisions and Prowl is the one who then needs to manufacture a miracle to pull the Autobots back from the bring of annihilation on a regular basis.

    But on Earth, things had, finally, calmed down.

    And Prowl needs his medical nap.

    So, as we know, Prowl and the Constructicons got arrested for a while.
    Optimus realizes that he may have not been the most supportive friend to Prowl after his whole “Get mind controlled and unwilling added to a Gelestat” episode. During a conversation with an old friend, he realizes that maybe Prowl needed some support after those incidents, and maybe that's why he was acting even more suspicious, paranoid, and doing more crazy things than normal. So, he walks on over to the prison the day Prowl is being released to offer him a place to stay. But, he finds that the Constructicons have decided to take Prowl with THEM. During this confrontation, Prowl seems to be very traumatized (Not talking, nor even looking at Optimus, he is being barricaded from the world, and he won't even react much to anything.)
    In reality, Prowl is changing his communication styles to something he is more comfortable with as he is supported by his new family.

    AKA: Optimus POV of Prowl finally getting love and support for his Autistic self, and Prowl unmasking. And Optimus, being the “I must save everyone I can” mech he is, COMPLETELY misses it. #OblivousPrime
