Summary
You’re working a shitty job, with shitty people. You have a shitty family, a shitty social life, a shitty apartment, and doing even shittier health wise. The only things that bring you joy are your persian longhair affectionately named Gargaroth The Devourer, and your seemingly never ending list of personal projects. One day a portal opens up, sucking you, Gargaroth, and your binder of notes for all of your projects, into a world filled with magic, monsters, and multiverse mishaps. Apparently you got here because a skeleton monster named Sans was tinkering with a dimension defying machine that sucked you and a bunch of alternate versions of himself and his brother through to his universe. On top of all that, apparently you’re the soulmate of every skeleton who got brought here, including the original pair of brothers…at least your cat is still acting the same.

You know those isekai stories where the reader gets sucked into a dating sim, where they have to survive their suitors, their environment, and find a way home. How they are often driven insane in the process, and their hearts get broken, and people get hurt, and there is a fear of being stuck forever in another world? Well, it’s over now. Through no method of your own, you were rescued along with the other victims. The game is being dismantled, the timeline disentangled, and the multiverse being duct taped back to relative normalcy. Apparently, this happens every once in a while, and there are systems and organizations in place to not only resolve the rogue games but to help with victim restitution and advocacy. You have been released after 15 years in otome-hell. The problem and where our story begins is that you cannot be returned to your home. Your entanglement with the events in this particular incident is more “unique” than what anyone has had to rectify before.
