Summary
We all know Jason dug out of his grave. We all know he was found wandering the streets, looking as though he'd been blown halfway to hell. We know he was taken directly to a hospital, where we know he asked for "Bruce" before he was placed into a coma. We know the detectives called in to investigate don't make the connection to Bruce Wayne or to the son he lost. And we also know what happens next.
But what if, by mere chance, someone did make the connection? What if someone did, in fact, recognize Jason Todd?

Bruce was starting to understand the jokes about him and adopting strays. But it’s not like he ever went looking for kids to adopt. They just sort of… appeared.
Besides, the neighbor boy clearly had no one, and Bruce could not in good conscience let that assassin girl go back to parents who had treated her so badly.
If that meant Bruce adopted two more kids, so be it. It’s not like he didn’t have the room.

Damian stood at the top of the dinosaur, biting his tongue as he worked to pull the dust cloth through the links of the chain keeping the top heavy robot from falling forward. He grunted as the cloth stuck in the links for the fifth time since he had started the horrid task of dusting. Alfred was mad at him, and so Damian was stuck cleaning the cave from top to bottom.
Damian felt the butler was overreacting, it wasn’t as if he had actually put the itching powder in Drake’s suit. He had only planned on doing it. Father hadn’t thought it funny either. Richard would have at least snorted. Damian thought he would anyway. Todd had told him of a long prank war between him and Richard that lasted nearly a month when Todd was Robin. It had only ended after both the Batsuit and the Batmobile were pepto bismol pink.
Damian sighed. He didn’t understand. He thought it would have been funny. Evidently, he couldn’t even prank correctly.

i saw a prompt on tumbler the other day that was like "what if the JL didn't know the bats or their identities OR that they were related until some end of the world thing and i went yes absolutely- how can i make it all about my baby Damian tho? And so heres my attempt at that lol.
The Justice League's watched each robin come and go, and presumably grow, never questioning as to how Batman had a Robin. Or who they were. Were there multiple? They would respects the bats wishes at privacy. That all would be till the league has to help clean up metropolis post-alien invasion- and the newest Robin is missing. Everything’s okay in the end tho :)
