The information pack they gave her seems nice. They get to spend their time on a bus. All of her colleagues are girls, except for their teacher and the driver. They're just a search party, so they shouldn't need to fight, but their bonds with each other should give them strength if they need it. Isn't that sweet? All Nina has to do is look out of the window. Let herself have fun. Learn to trust others. Make friends.

Summary
For the Incubators, a diagnosis of "mental illness" is as simple as having a personal interest outside producing negentropy – for example, in wordplay. Kyubey, the assigned Incubator for Mitakihara City's magical girls in their fight against wraiths, is diagnosed with an unnecessary emotion after making an unprompted joke, and scheduled for execution and replacement.
