Summary
NB: I have crossposted this story to Royalroad under the title System Override.
A forced experimental drug treatment at an early age has saddled David with an immense burden.
His mother’s insistence on his current lifepath as a corpo has done much the same.
David is a speeding ball of fire hurtling towards an unknown destination, and his mother’s death has left him adrift and unsure of his direction.
So he does what any teenager with no more fucks left to give does—he chips in some mil-spec chrome and looks for a quick way to earn edds, all the while learning to utilize the nanotechnology that had been forced on him as a child—finding out the immense potential within him as a result.
Corpo or Edgerunner? Why not both? And why not the best of both while we’re fucking at it?

Summary
David had always heard that this city made men into monsters. He didn't think they meant it literally.
Gloria Martinez had stolen a top-secret sample from the corpse of an AWOL scientist. She had been hunted down and assassinated for it. David should have died with her. He didn't. But that did not mean he came out unscathed. Whatever his mother had stolen had changed him; made him something else.
He wasn't sure why these people were willing to slaughter his mother over one vial, but he wanted answers. And he had a feeling that whatever had changed him—this "Blacklight"—would give them to him.

Summary
Rather than allowing Nana Shimura to die so that they can escape, Sorahiko Torino makes his way back to the battle against All For One, managing to rescue the injured hero just in time. As a result, All Might keeps in constant contact with both of his hero mentors throughout his career, and once he informs them of his new successor, they couldn't help but assist in his training.
Basically, what if Izuku had a basic understanding of One For All from the beginning of the story, which allowed him more time to master and cultivate it?
