Summary

When he agonized over what he let slip through his bloodied fingers, Rover was there with gentle hands wiping away his tears. When his monochrome world threatened to fall apart, Rover was there with the gold of his eyes becoming his guiding light.

He treats everyone with a heart of gold, yet treats himself the cruelest of all. Rover never did told him the full story of his own past, but he saw the longing in those golden eyes under the shine of the stars.
