Aziraphale was hunched a little, eyebrows drawn up into wounded pinch. He was breathing hard, soft grunts escaping on every other exhale. As if the sight of him clearly in pain wasn’t enough, Crowley was coming to realise what had seemed so different about him when he’d first appeared.
Crowley swallowed down his initial grief-stricken thought, that he looked as though he’d been beaten and thrown into a pool of boiling sulphur. And then he’d spotted the mark, and he couldn’t deny his eyes any longer.
His angel had Fallen. Aziraphale had Fallen.

After 5 years of being the supreme archangel of heaven, Aziraphale was cast down, forced to become fallen. Nina and Maggie got engaged and their wedding is soon. Crowley took over running the bookshop with Muriel and turned a portion of the upstairs into his greenhouse for his plants. He's trying to get over it all, but that's impossible isn't it? They decided to just pretend to be ok. But then one day Aziraphale shows up at the bookshop after his fall and hurt/comfort + an apology ensues. (tags will update as I update)
