Summary
You are a human in a world run by monsters. They don’t bother hiding most of their monstrous traits, but they do adhere to a strict roster of theatrical and performance roles. They’re given names at birth, but choose their role as they mature. Anything from Noh and Kabuki from the east, to Commedia dell’arte, there are roles to be filled. This includes mystical roles such as the major arcana and playing cards. All monsters cover their faces as a show of propriety and respect for the old ways, but they also keep humans as pets and food livestock. There are many ferals still, hidden in back alleys and forests or disguised as monsters. Fresh, feral blood is a delicacy. At least monsters have found a way to synthesize human flesh to ensure their diet is sustainable should humans become a threatened species (which has happened in the past), but many still indulge in the hunt.
Unfortunately, even while disguised as a monster yourself, you have attracted the attention of a hunter. Fortunately, or unfortunately, he wishes to devour you in a completely different way.

Summary
You always had this misguided belief that if you were ever faced with a yandere you would live. Well, not a real one exactly; one from a yandere romance game. Even more specifically you are so delusional that you think if you were ever isekai’d into a yandere romance game you would be able to get the best ending, no problem.
This all started in middle school. After learning about what a yandere is you soon found yourself taking a quiz titled “Would you survive a yandere?”. You, of course, aced it, getting the best outcome. From there the obsession grew.
You’ve played so many horror romance games at this point you’ve started to find them easy. Time and time again you would play a new game blind only to end up with the best ending first try. This of course did not help with your delusion, only worsening it.
Perhaps you’re being cursed for your hubris, you ponder as a clown presents a black and red circus ticket to you.

His hand grasped your arm as his thumb caressed the prominent vein in your wrist. His touch was light, like a feather. His nail tickled the palm of your hand as you suddenly realize how small your hand is compared to his. You look up at him, he had gotten closer to your face. You could feel his breath ghosting your lips as he spoke;
"My dear.." he whispered, if any other noise was playing in the room you wouldn't have been able to hear him. "Can I-" he stopped, his mouth hung open just slightly as he stared down at you. His pupils were blown out, like a cats when they see their favorite toy, or in this case, his favorite person.
