Summary
Ryland Grace expected a lot of things to change when he decided to go back to Blip-A and save Rocky, but he had no idea things would get this complicated. Namely, this emotionally involved.

Ryland Grace will starve on his way to Erid without figuring out a new food source. In this universe, Rocky offers to help create a food Ryland can eat during their journey on the Hail Mary together by hybridizing Ryland's DNA with food from his planet. As a result, Ryland begins taking on... different traits. Traits that make it possible for him and Rocky (and eventually, Adrian) to get closer than any of them ever thought they would be while the three of them start a life together on Erid.

Summary
Ryland Grace and Rocky are no where near close to figuring out how to save the stars. No matter how hard they work there seems to be no solution. Until a message comes in overhead the intercoms.
Simon is struggling with everything. He's having no fun whatsoever but he feels like he's debted to Ryland for saving him, so the two, on his part, reluctantly work together to save the universe.

Summary
Grace has to handle First Contact with an alien planet with what meager Eridian his one set of vocal chords can make.
This Is Fine. This is totally, completely, utterly fine.(Grace sounds like a pebble. This, alongside Eridian's extended lifespans, kicks off a chain of misunderstandings that Grace would find utterly mortifying if he knew what the heck was going on.)
