Hoseok doesn't have time to date, ok? He is a busy professional whose clients buy whole towers of apartments and office space and his work takes almost all of his focus. When he isn't working, he's having a movie night and doing face masks with his best friend Yoongi. So what is he to do when his bosses and coworkers imply that there's something wrong with being single and that he won't be seen as stable or committed to his work unless he has a partner?
Enter his best friend's roommate, Seokjin.
Seokjin is a very successful model--with this face, it was pretty much inevitable, right?--who has a roommate, not out of necessity, but boredom. And when that roommate's best friend needs a fake boyfriend to shut up his co-workers, well, it sounds like a good time. What could go wrong, really? He'll stun a few idiots and generate some press while helping out a friend. He's not counting on falling in love.

Why mess with a good thing, Jimin thinks, but can’t hold onto that when Taehyung’s on top of him, the heat of his body making Jimin sweat, or maybe it’s his teeth on Jimin’s neck. Jimin has the vague notion that he should put a stop to this but his brain is severely deprived of blood right now, all of it pooled where he ruts up against Taehyung.
And why when they’re here, filming in this remote location, where cameras lurk around every corner like prying eyes, only turned off for the moment to give them some privacy while they sleep? It’s so risky, it makes so little sense that Jimin finally grips Taehyung by the upper arms and tries to push him away.

“Please,” Seokjin says after a small pause. “Just pretend to be my date for a few hours. I promise I’m not some kind of weirdo -”
“Debatable,” Yoongi cuts in.
“Come on, what do you have to lose? What do I have to do to convince you?” Seokjin gives Yoongi a smile that he’s sure is meant to make him melt. It probably sends people to their knees, smoldering and sexy.
“Stop making that face, for one,” Yoongi says. “You’re going to give me indigestion.”

Waiter Yoongi isn’t entirely sure why he agreed to pretend to be actor Kim Seokjin’s date at a fancy gala, maybe he thought it would liven things up. He definitely didn’t intend to actually have fun, or to make out with Seokjin in a stairwell. And it’s all fine, maybe a funny story to tell later, until Yoongi wakes up with his face all over the tabloids as Seokjin’s mystery boyfriend.

Summary
