Todoroki flushed, red blossoming on the tips of his ears. Hesitating, he muttered, "I got my soul mark."
Katsuki just looked at him, incredulous. "So, what, you got your soul mark and—broke a glass? The hell?"
Todoroki looked away from him—embarrassed for once in his life (as he well should be). "It felt like a fair reaction at the time."
Or: Katsuki walks in to find Shouto lying on the floor, surrounded by broken glass, and blabbering on about soul marks--of all things.

I love this
My god I love thisi come back to read this ever so often, and it's still so good. i read it first... shortly after it came out, before covid was nostalgic. when i was still kept inside. and now, rereading it, remembering that time -- it's written so well here.
