About 4 to 5 years after the events of Royal, Yusuke finally managed to end his poor spending habits (with the help of his friends ofc) but despite this, he began to feel lonely. His friend and fellow phantom thief, Ren Amamiya would decide to pair him up with Hifumi Togo. The two would eventually hit it off and have been extremely close ever since.
This is a one shot of one of their dates. My favorite one and probably their most important date at that.

Summary
When Makoto became the Great Seal, he knew that he would be paying a great price and inflicting a deep cut into the hearts of the people around him. It was painful, but necessary. He was willing to carry the burden if it meant that they could continue living fulfilling lives, even if he would never join them to see it with his own eyes.
What Makoto didn’t expect however, was that he’d be thrust back into the world of the living nearly seven years later as a twenty-four year old man. Left in a world that was now both alien and familiar all at the same time, Makoto is left to regain his bearings and catch up with his relationships in a world that continued on without him.

“You've been calling in sick a lot lately,” he continues. “You've been tired, and you've had all these headaches... Are you sure you're okay? I could take you to the doctor tomorrow.”
“I'm okay, Makoto,” she assures him. Her smile breaks for just a second, and when it returns it's clear that she's trying to fight it back. Her hand runs in a gentle circle around her belly. “I think... something changed for the better.”
It's only then that he realizes she's not clutching at her stomach in pain. She's holding it protectively.
