Summary
Charles Leclerc is a 20-year-old struggling to get by. He works at a restaurant he loves, but the Owner... not so much. He meets two men, who immediately seem dangerous. Yet they were so sweet to him. They informed him that their boss, Max, had sent them to find a good server, Their previous ones lacking.
Daniel, one of the men, knew at first glance that Charles was exactly what they needed for Max to be satisfied. Maybe in more ways than one.

Charles and Max. It was always just them. First as childhood rivals/friends, then rivals, then friends, then boyfriends, then husbands. The downside? No one knew. They all thought they were rivals or at least acquaintances. They only knew what Max and Charles wanted them to know. Max was with Kelly Piquet.
Now, many many years later after the 'disappearance' of Max Verstappen, he chooses up-and-coming Evony Raymond, a small-time journalist, for an interview. Said interview revealed much more than the public had ever thought they could handle.

“I fucking had that, Patches,” Katsuki grouses. “I ain’t some damsel in distress.”
“I see that, doll,” the man says. “You’re really something, aren’t you, spitfire?”
“Fucking obviously,” Katsuki says with a scoff.
“You heading home?” The white-haired man asks.
“That was the fucking plan,” Katsuki says with a shrug.
“Want to get something to eat first?” The man asks.
“No,” Katsuki says dryly.
The tattooed man pouts, and tilts his head in the most out-of-character puppy dog expression the blonde has ever seen.
It’s stupid—the guy is huge, and the back light in the alley shines off of his piercings and casts an ominous shadow across his tattooed skin, making him look like a demon.
Even his turquoise eyes seem to be glowing. He does not look like a cute, innocent little puppy and Katsuki absolutely should not give in.
But fuck if he doesn’t do just that.
