Summary
Yurgenschmidt is not kind to twins, but Azurielle and Cavinia are not twins, at least not in the biological sense. One of them is an adopted, overworked people pleaser, and the other is a chaos gremlin, but Azurielle and Cavinia make it work. Sort of. Unfortunately both of them are actually reincarnated Bookworm fans, and finding out they’ve been reborn as laynobles in Quandtreeb, the lowest ranked duchy on the losing side of the civil war, right before everything is about to get worse with the mass purges, has kind of thrown a wrench in things.
They’ll do their best to survive while making use of knowledge from their past lives, and from reading Ascendance of a Bookworm, but wait… did Kazuki-sensei write a Rickroll into the story? And how did everyone independently invent soup broth? Have children always been this interested in praying? What’s going on???
