Summary
Maggie Sawyer after her breakup with Alex Danvers, comes across a missing person's case for an Alexandra Grey, who looks suspiciously like her ex. She uncovers a kidnapping and brainwashing conspiracy at the DEO as a result. With the help of J'onn they uncover it and Alex realizes that her and Kara's whole lives are a lie and is trying to cope with remembering and reuniting with her friends and family. Meanwhile Kara is struggling with her relationship with Clark and how his abandonment of her allowed her to be brainwashed.

Finally, Zoey blurted it out, voice soft but sharp:
“Have you ever thought of… something besides monogamy?”
Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”

EDITED: I’ve had a few requests to write a fourth chapter, so here it is.
Lena goes to see Kara after they hang up at the end of “Alex.”

Kara tells Lena it’s all been sorted out, but has it really?
OR
Kara is not okay at all after witnessing her sister almost dying.

It didn’t sit well with me that Kara went home at the end of that episode with Mon-"I-knEW-yOU’d-Be-FINe"-El. Kara went through what probably was the most traumatic event of her life after having lost her entire planet and civilization, and I just couldn’t buy that he would provide the emotional support she would most definitely need. So I wrote this.

When Lena rescues Kara from a night out it results in Lena learning the truth of Supergirl's real identity. She vows to help in any way she can, in order to keep Kara and Supergirl alive.
This story starts out with mutual pining from afar, but progresses into something else. I'm sorry that the summary kind of sucks. Please give the story a chance!
