The announcement had echoed through his head since Charlie had giddily exclaimed it. If Angel wasn't a resident, then what was he? He didn't have a job at the hotel, unless acting out the skits Charlie put together counted.
She had said he was family, but if anything, that only worried him more. He'd had a family before, on earth, that had given him a home all the way up until the point where they hadn't. How long would it be until the others at the hotel discovered one of his preferences, like his father had, and decided it meant he deserved to be homeless? Between her mother and her father, it was hardly as though Charlie had a family that stuck together through thick and thin.
No, Angel decided to himself as he lay awake staring at his ceiling, if he wanted to stay -and he did- he'd need to pull his act together and try to change himself to fit the hotel rather than the hotel to fit him. Maybe if he was just useful enough, he could prove to them he was worth keeping around.

Summary
Throughout five seasons and sixty-five episodes, we - and therefore Merlin - never once heard the actual prophecy that guided, led, and dragged our characters to their ends. There were quotes and excerpts, cliff notes and summaries, but never once the prophecy itself.
Merlin stood by Arthur’s side for more than a decade, working toward their shared future without ever once hearing the prophecy that foretold it.
How would things have changed if he had heard it?

Summary
Maverick really should have known better than to promise to settle things with Rooster after the mission and still expect them all to come through unscathed.Maverick’s second ejection in a month didn’t leave him quite as uninjured as he’d thought it had, and it’s Rooster that has to try to pick up the pieces. Luckily he has a whole aircraft carrier of people to pull him through.

Summary
All of these stories are disconnected except the last one I will publish, 'All Roads Lead To Haven' which was loosely planned to be the epilogue of any of the stories that Angel is freed in. Otherwise, each of these stories are standalone fics with the same theme.
My baby sister, Summer_Meadows, is ridiculous, and ridiculously cute, and she has convinced me to write instances where Angel Dust is saved by every named character in Season One of Hazbin Hotel.
NOTE: If anyone has any off-shoot ideas from this series, you should FEEL FREE TO WRITE IT! If anyone has an idea for a different way a story could have ended, or what happens after the story is over, or what it was like from another character's point of view FEEL FREE TO WRITE IT!

This story is a direct sequel to DUNGEON CRAWLER CARL, BOOK 8.
Carl, Donut, and their remaining teammates arrive on the Twelfth Floor, all with firm agendas. Donut just wants to keep herself, Carl, and her friends alive. Carl is planning to on staying here until everyone, including the NPCs, are out safely. Mordecai wants to get Carl, Donut, and all the NPC children in Larracos into the Pineapple Cabaret.
The feral AI, however, has discovered that Carl's greatest strengths, his family bonds, are also his greatest weakness. The AI has made it very clear already that he's hoping to use Mordecai as bait to get Carl to finally break, and Mordecai is ready to do whatever it takes to prevent that.
