“Do you know anything about the Targaryens, Egg?”
Egg froze, regarding him cautiously. “… As much as anyone else does, I wager.”
“Do you know anything about Prince Aerion?”
The boy blinked. “Oh. Well… he’s Prince Baelor’s fourth son. And the only omega in the family aside from Prince Maekar, his dam. He’s been fostered at Storm’s End the past twelve years, but he’s supposed to come home after the tourney. Why do you ask, Ser?”
OR, the one where Aerion is secretly the lovechild of Maekar and Lyonel. Yes, really.

Ever since the incident that brought his family to shambles, the fatidic family vacation that ended with his uncle dead and Aerion cast away as a pariah —even more so than he’d already been—, Aerion has been burdened with terrible episodes of anxiety. It has gotten to a point where he finds himself desperate for relief, and the only apparent solution to his problem is to ask Dunk, his giant of a roommate, for some help.
A favor that will certainly shift the delicate balance in which both of them have been keeping their unresolved feelings for each other.

Summary
Dunk didn't come from money. Raised in the foster system in upstate New York, the only real role model he ever had was his hockey coach Arlan. A contract in the NHL, a spot on Team USA at the Olympics, none of it was handed to him. He had to earn it all through hard work and dedication. His life wasn't one of pleasure, it was one of duty and purpose, and he liked it that way.
But when he meets Aerion, a striking young figure skater, who's equally as talented as he is cruel, Dunk's perfect vision of his Olympic debut is turned on its head. As if just having to share the ice with the petulant and bratty skater isn't bad enough, Team USA has somehow decided pairing Aerion with the kind and honest Dunk is the perfect way to clean up his image.
Whether they're being forced together in interviews or photoshoots, or snowed in a hotel where beds are in short supply.. Dunk can't seem to escape the skater's piercing gaze and the flushed sensation catching it makes me him feel.
