The side effects of using quirk can be experienced by everyone. Every quirk is both a miracle and a curse. Bakugo's acute hypothermia is one such curse.
Nitroglycerin as the source of his quirk explosion accumulated rapidly without being able to be channelled due to the extreme cold weather. The excess Nitroglycerin in him could poison his own body. Bakugo's daily life changed completely! Kirishima followed him around like a guard dog.
