“I was checking on you, and you so happened to be doing that.” It wasn’t her best argument and it made her feel incredibly childish but she needed to say something. “Did you turn it off?” The undercurrent of ‘I know what you did’ is back and Nile presses her lips tight because she very much did not turn it off. She one hundred percent did the opposite of turning it off.
