Sanji slid his heel along the cell floor and caught it alight; not unlike the draw of a match. He dipped his chin and met the flames halfway along his shin, a satisfied sigh falling out at the first draw of smoke.
The Marine froze awkwardly, his hand lowering slowly and his cheeks flushing with anger.

Summary
Tails bites his tongue from making another remark. His many years of watching Sonic have taught him a thing or two about enemies' tolerance to back-talk, and he really would like to avoid getting hurt, mostly to keep Sonic's mother henning at bay once all of this is over.
There is one thing, however, that confuses him.
"And why, pray tell, would Eggman want this?" The kit asks as his namesakes twitch harshly once more.
The fox stops right in front of him, purple eyes bringing an unwelcome memory to the surface. Did the leader have to be a fox? It is making it severely more difficult to find the situation funny when Mr. Asshole over here is damping the mood.
"A certain hedgehog might get a little bit more collaborative that way." The older fox explains, eyes glinting with mirth.
Or:
Tails knows a thing or two about being kidnapped. At twelve years old he has lost count of how many times a villain or Eggman has so rudely stolen him away to try and make a bargain with Sonic. But the hedgehog always saves him, it shouldn't be too different this time around.
If only these kidnappers weren't so boring.

Summary
Growing up under the subjugation of Robotnik’s steel dystopia, you have to get your freedom however you can. For Sonic the Hedgehog? It’s through his music and traveling what’s left of the world outside of the Robotnik Republic’s reach. With his siblings, Sonia and Manic, they’ve formed a rock band called “The Underground” and tour the territories still on the fringes of freedom.
One day, their van breaks down near an outpost in the middle of nowhere, where the triplets are approached by a two-tailed fox kit who claims he can help them fix it. All he needs are a few parts and a lift to the next town. As they learn more about this strange kid and where he came from, Sonic, Sonia, and Manic find themselves as targets of Robotnik in his attempts to catch the fox and claim the technology he’s been working on for himself.
The technology in question? A way to travel between realities.
But the more the fox bonds with the three hedgehogs and is exposed to the world he initially felt trapped in, his growing sense of responsibility for the state of their world threatens to keep him shackled to it.For the 2024 Sonic the Hedgehog Big Bang

“…kinda?!” Angel and Cherri ask in unison.
“I didn’t find your edibles. Um…Husk and Niffty did. And we sorrrta have a problem.”
When Husk ends up accidentally high, Angel Dust and Cherri are tasked with keeping an eye on him. Angel figures whatever, it’s what friends do, right? This won’t change their dynamic, no, certainly not.
(Too bad Husk is charming even as a drugged mess.)

Summary
Two of the city's superheroes fight villians and protect the city whilst keeping their true identities a secret. They cannot even know the names of each other, their faces disguised by their magical jewels.
Dream is a flirty, cocky and impulsive hero with a sword and a smirk, never failing to cast witty and flirty remarks at his partner. GNotFound is clever and calculated, and can’t stand being near the flirty masked hero.
Exams, friend groups, crushes, fights and prom should be their main stressors. But George and Clay barely have time to sleep, let alone focus on anything else.
None of that stops George from crushing hard on his classmate, but Clay’s heart seems to be somewhere else. Perhaps with a certain masked hero he secretly spends nearly every day with.
Neither can escape the responsibilities on their shoulders, and they can’t tell anyone their problems. The only person that could possibly understand what they are going through, is each other.
But they don’t even know who that is.
Which is Super inconvenient.
