Summary
Not for the first time, Percy was glad he wasn’t the jealous type (though a little bit of a heads-up via text would have been nice), because Merlin was lovely. All clear blue eyes and high cheekbones. He’d heard the tales, of course, Gwaine had been open about what a shit he’d been to his first love, and Percy was glad, actually, that Merlin and Gwaine seemed to get on so well after their absence from each other; something about time healing all wounds, it seemed.
Merlin and Gwaine have reconnected by chance after a decade, and in turn Gwaine introduces his ex-boyfriend to the man he's going to marry.
Percy acquaints himself with a whole new relationship.

Arthur was just glad the rest of the team seemed occupied as he swallowed audibly.

Summary
Between the Cailleach—who watched him silently—and the swirling darkness of the rend in the fabric of the world, sat a squat circle of stones, built up into a small wall. A well. Either Merlin had not noticed it before or, more likely, it had materialised before him without his notice. He could feel how alive this place was with magic, though none of it felt quite right at the gateway that should never have been. The hairs on the back of his neck raised, as if something had breathed down it, and Merlin shivered.
It was now or never.
Merlin perched himself on the edge of the wall, swinging his legs round until they dangled into nothingness. With one final glance at the men who still argued, each one of them dear to him, he caught Arthur’s eyes at last. Merlin’s heart sank in his chest, as he watched Arthur’s jaw drop.
Merlin does what he must to pay the Cailleach's toll. Arthur is with him, even at the bottom of a well.

“You loved him.”
It isn’t a question, nor a judgement. Leon, voice familiar and ever calm, simply states it like the fact it is. Merlin works his throat, isn’t sure he could speak around the lump in it even if his voice were not hoarse from long weeks of his self-imposed silent vigil. Instead he nods. He doesn’t have the strength to deny it in the wake of so much raw grief and crushed hope. Out of the corner of his eye he sees Leon nod too.
Merlin doesn’t know how much time passes before either of them speak again but it is long enough that Leon, without magic to sustain him, begins to shiver. Merlin opens his mouth to speak and finds that he cannot make words come. He clears his throat to try again, to tell Leon to leave this place before he catches his death, but he is interrupted as the knight commander speaks once more.

“You do think so highly of yourself, Sir,” Mithian quips, though her breath catches in her throat as he leans down towards her, further pressing into her space.
“Only because I’ve received no complains, Highness.” His lips draw the words atop the fluttering pulse behind her ear before Leon sets his lips upon her skin at last, dragging them down the curve of her neck and across the top of her exposed shoulder. She does not moan, doesn’t make a single sound, if only because there is no air left in her lungs, her body frozen between each press of his lips upon her.
