Vox and Alastor’s kaiju-scale hookup leaves Pentagram City in ruins, the power grid fried, and the broadcast sensors still very much on. Velvette shows up with a megaphone, a migraine, and a growing list of fines, while the cleanup crew files trauma reports and Angel Dust in a helicopter?
There’s blood, static, shadows, public indecency charges, and absolutely no shame.

Summary
He hasn’t seen Alastor in person in at least seven years, maybe more. Not that he hasn’t been keeping tabs on him, of course. Every time the little creep climbs another rung of the broadcasting ladder, Vincent is the first to know about it. Every time some hack prints another article on Radio’s darling versus TV’s sweetheart — who’s in the lead?, Vincent reads it over and over ’til his eyes bleed. And every time he thinks back to college, and to the charming young man who’d stay up with him all night discussing everything from mechanics to murder, and how it all ended so bitterly, Vincent drinks himself blind on the kitchen floor.
And now here he is, on Vincent’s doorstep.
‘Well,’ he says, lips curling into a nasty grin, ‘I guess it really is Christmas.’

On Christmas Eve, Alastor arrives at Vincent's door bleeding from his shoulder. Featuring stitches, scotch, and sweaters.

“Shh... Do try not to move, Vox,” Alastor whispered.
The rubble under him ached and itched. Vox stiffened at how quiet Alastor went. He couldn’t help but dread what Alastor could see that he couldn’t with his vision glitched because of a cracked screen. “What are you– What do you mean, Al?”
“It’s alright, old pal,” Alastor continued to whisper. His voice washed over Vox so calmly. It would have been soothing if not for that fact that Alastor should have been bickering with him, insulting him and how his own recklessness got him injured. He should have been mocking him and doing it in rhyme for the Hell of it to make fun of how dumb of a move it was to get himself so torn open.
But Alastor wasn’t.
So Vox was dying.

Charlie and Alastor go to recruit Vox (and other overlords) for the attack Heaven wants to secretly spring on Hell and Vox gets injured by Exorcists as a result

At one of Gatsby's parties, Nick drinks a little too much and goes looking for Gatsby. Nick's feelings come to the surface under the liquid courage and while Gatsby gently stops a drunk Nick from advancing, the next morning, Nick learns that his feelings weren't as one sided as he thought.
