Summary
Loughshinny Dublinn, codenamed Reed the Flameshadow, returns home to Rhodes Island after a journey of self-discovery in the Victorian countryside, eager to meet the Doctor again after her long absence.
As the Landship heads towards Londinium, the shadows of the past return to haunt the Doctor, who has yet to fully recover from the tragic events in Lungmen and Chernobog. Swallowed by this darkness and shivering from the cold that is his guilt, there is only one person who can pull him up from this mire.
And, perhaps, along the way, the flower of love may bloom from the flames.

After having been on a several-day long sortie, the Commander has finally returned to port, much to the delight of his wife, Formidable. When she proposes that they should spend some quality time together to help him wind down, the Commander - still mindful of his duties - is initially reluctant, but ends up accepting the cheeky carrier's offer, finding his wife inexplicably more attractive today than ever before.
Unbeknownst to him, Formidable seems to have some ulterior motives in getting the Commander into her bed today of all days.
