Summary
“Regulus!” Sirius’ voice suddenly sounds muddy and indistinct. “What the fuck is wrong with you?”
Regulus isn’t quite sure. He stumbles backwards a bit as he blinks, attempting to sort out the sudden rush and pouring stream that is overtaking him.
“Have to…” Regulus’ voice sounds distant even to his own ears. “Need to…”
“Oh god, was he poisoned?” Comes Peter’s voice, sounding on-edge. “It was right after he ate- Sirius, that was supposed to be your cake!”
“You don’t think I know that?” Sirius bites back, but Regulus isn’t listening. He’s only staring into thin air, blinking slowly as his world crumbles around him.
“James-” Regulus bites out, the name so packed with emotion, and yet not muttered of his own volition. “I need you, James.”

Regulus accidentally takes a love potion and falls for James Potter.
