The voice on the other end was undeniably young, and he knew instantly that this was a child, no older than 13 by the sound of it, that was on the other line. He glanced around, but he couldn't see anyone else around, even when he flared his quirk, so it was unlikely that the child was nearby. But that left the question: how did they reach him, and how were they seeing him?
For now, he decided to play dumb, as much as he hated doing so. "What are you talking about? Who is this?"
The child was silent, only the sound of stuttered breaths and frantic typing filling the line. After a moment, the child took a deep, shaky breath. "I k-know you're Eraser, an-nd that you're f-following Miss Joke, but it's a t-trap!"

He may only be in UA’s general studies course right now, but he doesn't plan on staying that way, so instead he's planning to keep his head low and keep working.
So he doesn't particularly care when he and the rest of the kids are forced into a room to introduce the newest fucked up member of their “family”.
Instead, leaning on the wall in the back of the crowd, watching as his foster mother, of which he can't even remember the name of, introduces the small kid. Maybe four-ish, as he curls in on himself at the attention of everyone in the hall, green, fluffy hair and wide eyes. Shouta Doesn't get what made this kid be sent here, he seems nice enough. Anxious, but not mean or the type to act out. Shy, cute little kids are the type for other foster families to grab up before the kid gets here.
“Oh and kids, do make sure to be careful with Midoriya, he's quirkless.” she chirps, and the rest of the kids immediately burst into laughter. As Midoriya shrinks back even further, scared.
