Summary
If everyone has skeletons in the closet then Kaminari Denki has a whole graveyard. And with a past like his and four years of vigilantism under his belt he is determined to keep the closet locked.
That is until he is faced with either jail time or forced rehabilitation at one UA high school.
Now with his newly established spot as a hero in training he must find a way to keep that past locked away while protecting what he holds most dear...It can't be that hard right?

“Damn loser.” Bakugou’s voice is muffled by Todoroki’s neck.
“You are currently hugging the damn loser,” Todoroki says.
Bakugou kicks him.

Summary
Denki subtly slides his dead phone from his pocket and onto the desk. Using Ojiro’s bulk to hide it, he tilts the screen toward himself until he can see his reflection. There, along his neck, are bruises in the shape of fingers.
Bruises.
On his neck.
In the shape of fingers.
He literally looks like he was choked.
With all the calm he can muster, Denki gently places his phone face down and starts buttoning his shirt. He gets about halfway before he feels eyes on him and makes the mistake of looking to his right. Mina’s watching him, her mouth open and her gum on the edge of falling out. He snatches his collar closed, flushing. She blinks a few times, frowns, and puts her hand around her throat. Denki swallows.
Fuck.
Or: Denki's boyfriend likes to leave bruises and Denki likes that he likes to leave bruises. The issue is: his friends don't know that. They don't even know he has a boyfriend.

Denki Kaminari dreamed of being a hero. Most children did, at some point. Who wouldn’t want to be a living symbol of hope, justice, and strength? With a quirk like his, he might have actually had a shot.
But like almost everything in life, it came to an end. Denki’s dreams of heroism never made it past infancy.
Now he dreams of something greater — a new world, one that doesn’t need heroes.

“You always pick five,” Udai muses in the wake of the staff betting pool. Akaashi’s not even sure what they’re betting on, aware that his final deadline to have the latest manuscript submitted is in five days.
“Five is a good number.”
It’s five years since Akaashi watched Bokuto step into the light of the future and five years since he last set a volleyball into the air on centre court. It’s been five years, and in not one of them has he forgotten what it felt like to stand beneath the trajectory of a shooting star.
