Summary
Set in the time after the events of the Bob's Burgers Movie, this story follow the Belcher family as they try to adjust to life as trauma survivors. Alternating between the perspectives of Tina Belcher and Zeke, the Belcher family finds themselves the biggest subject of town gossip when the Belcher trio go missing during the last days of school. Despite their return, and the papers commemorating their act of heroism, the gossip persists as everyone notices their sudden change in behaviors. The Belcher children, once known for their rambunctiousness, seem to have lost their passion for hi-jinks. The Belcher spouses, too, begun closing the restaurant more frequently and lost their drive for burgers. When the Belcher children return from a three month long vacation the summer after freshman year, Zeke and the rest of the town is convinced something happened during those mysterious days before the end of 8th grade. Despite rumors swirling and accusations running amok, the Belcher children refuse to speak. However, Zeke is determined to figure out what happened. As he pushes forward with his mission, will he be able to uncover the secrets of the family? And, if so, what does this mean for his massive crush on Tina?

"ugh! you-...you!" tina's trembling, her fingers tugging at her hair, grasping at anything to keep her grounded. louise is immediately prepared for a good old fashioned belcher brawl. however, nothing could've prepared her for the next words that spilled from her sister's bitter mouth. "why do you make it your job to ruin everybody else's lives?!" she shouts storming up towards her and towering above her.
