Jason steps forward, the stone floor rough against his bare feet. He’s surrounded by a world of white, the veil doing its job to obscure his vision. If he looks down, he can see his toes peeking out from beneath the flowing skirt of his silk shift, and his nipples feel tight against the soft fabric. They’ve pebbled from anticipation, not cold. The room is comfortably warm, given that the veil and shift are all Jason is wearing.
He takes a deep breath through his nose, eyes fluttering shut at the concentrated and competing scents of alphas. Alphas that Bruce selected for him to choose from.

But the experiments begin to fail, and he is abandoned yet again to an Omega Rehabilitation Facility, where the family expects he will be retrained into the 'perfect omega' and placed in an arranged marriage, or be eliminated if this is no longer possible.
The Facility don't know about the experiments, and Efnisien doesn't even know why he's there in the first place, since he's an alpha...isn't he? One thing's for certain, he definitely doesn't need an alpha companion, no matter what the staff at the facility seem to think.
