Summary
Ryuunosuke didn't expect to personally reap many benefits as a result of his role in helping to solve the case at the end of Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2, but he couldn't deny that he was enjoying the tentative friendship that he and Van Zieks were forming in the wake of its conclusion. In an effort to recover from his undue prejudice against the Japanese, Van Zieks asks Ryuunosuke if he would mind teaching him more about his homeland, starting with an aspect that already appeals to him: Japanese wine. Ryuunosuke proposes that they try making some together. Over the course of the five month fermentation period, the two of them get to know each other better on a personal level and come to realize that they might be more compatible than they realized.

“Oh, I forgot to tell you,” Giorno says smoothly. With a quirked brow, he elaborates, like it’s no big deal, “I’m planning on taking a trip to Japan next week.”
Mista notes the conspicuous lack of the word ‘we’ in that sentence, which doesn’t hurt him at all. Giorno is allowed to do things by himself, and he’s definitely strong enough to handle any enemies or ne’er-do-wells on his own. So, why does Mista feel so betrayed?
“Why?” Mista accidentally says aloud.
“Just sight-seeing, really,” Giorno says, with a half sort of wave of his hand. It’s an odd movement for Giorno — one that looks so unnatural, Mista realizes belatedly, because it’s a mannerism Giorno picked up from him. “I don’t intend on negotiating with the Yakuza. Yet. But, I thought a trip would be nice. A change in scenery.” He pauses. “And I hear there is...family there.” He flashes a sort of half-smile in Mista’s direction. “Sound fun?”

Fugo was punished for speaking out against them, but life would continue as normal the next day. Well, sometimes they would give him a cold shoulder, and sometimes they would threaten to stop paying for his education, but once he apologized and asked for their forgiveness everything would be okay again.
Except for now, apparently. Fugo’s parents had been at their wits end with his “attitude”, and instead of doing the logical thing and getting him help, they decided to punish him more. After their most recent argument where Fugo finally admitted that he didn’t even want to study law, they decided to push back his internship until the following summer and teach him a “proper lesson”. Now Fugo was on his way to this place called the Bucciarati Family Farm. He barely had had time to get info on the place before his bags were being packed and his driver was whisking him away from his house. His brothers sneakily laughed at him the whole time he was leaving, and since he was feeling spiteful he spit on one of their shoes as he walked by. Fuck them, fuck everyone here.
(Basically, Fugo is sent to work on a farm for the summer as punishment, but it ends up being the best decision ever made for him.)
