Ashveil is (temporarily) turned into a wolf.
“What a strange wolf,” Blade murmurs. “Are you an imagenae?” Bandaged fingers move with increasing confidence, rubbing behind furry ears. Seeming to think of something, he says, “I don’t have any food for you.”
Ashveil huffs. He didn’t come for food. Having successfully received the other’s interest, he boldly hops onto the bench and puts his head in Blade’s lap.
Blade’s brows raise slightly at the wolf’s brazenness, but the dim light in his eyes warms by a few degrees.

It would have never worked out in high school, then there was university and our careers to contend with. I’m busy, you’re busier. The timing just hasn’t been right, I guess.”

“Yes, Durin?” Albedo began, his voice soft and patient as ever. “Did you need something from me?”
He didn’t question why Durin was still awake at this hour. He didn’t even need to ask for a reason, because he knew exactly why the dragon child would venture out of his own room late into the night. He just wanted to hear it from his mouth.
“Can’t sleep,” Durin mumbled, giving his brother a bashful look. “I know I should get used to sleeping in my own room, but it’s a bit chilly recently. Is it okay if I… slept in your room tonight?”
Albedo helps Durin fall asleep faster.
