Five Times Rumi Was Hit By a Bus (and one time where she is hit again, just for good measure) by tenderlumberjack

Summary
Rumi had learned a long time ago that her body was… more resilient than the average human. She wasn't invincible. Her body still bent and broke and popped and bled in an irritatingly human way sometimes. However she tended to heal at a supernatural rate. A broken arm healed in a matter of minutes. A gash closed over in a handful of seconds. The honmoon helped to speed up the healing of its hunters, but not to this level. Not to this extreme.
Still, the first time Rumi gets hit by a bus she is immensely grateful that 1) it is her and not one of her girls that was hit, 2) her demon healing has already started to repair her snapped spine as she careens through the air and 3) that Zoey and Mira are still in the alley way and won't have to watch this happen.

Summary
The voice was rich, leathery, and smooth, a controlled belt from the chest of the woman on stage. Mira imagined she could see the concentration in the woman’s closed eyes and furrowed brow, if the stage lights weren’t hitting her from behind, shrouding her in a golden silhouette.
Every bar was effortless. Every note an odyssey.
Mira looked at Zoey. The girl was just as transfixed. More so than Mira, even. But then, Zoey’s attunement to the Honmoon was much stronger than Mira’s. Zoey often said the Honmoon kind of felt like the Ocean from Moana. Mira had never seen it so she had to take Zoey’s word for it.
The Honmoon rippled.

Mira and Zoey are looking to relax and unwind after months of helping Celine at auditions in search of the missing link to their trio. They don't expect to find her working at a nightclub with her patterns on full display.

Summary
That night, she lays in her bed-cabin, listening to the sound of the sea lolling beneath her.
Peaceful, if she didn’t feel the flames of Sombra’s warehouse, warm and encroaching at her back. If the explosion didn’t take her silence and leave her with a fire’s echo in her ears that never seems to fade. If she didn’t still hear Helena’s voice in her head, strained with tears, I hope you burn it all to the ground.
That’s ironic, Tayane thinks, and then laughs herself to sleep.

Summary
Six months into her time with the VALORANT Protocol, Deadlock is finally finding her footing and becoming a valued member of the team—but the ghosts of her past refuse to fade. Haunted by her trauma and struggling to move forward, she keeps her distance, her world one of sharp edges and solitude. That is, until Fade steps in.
The Initator has seen enough nightmares to recognize them in someone else. What starts as silent understanding and quiet comfort soon turns into stolen moments and whispered confessions, as Fade helps Deadlock face the demons that refuse to let her rest.
As their bond deepens and lines blur between partnership and something more, they find themselves in dangerous territory. Keeping their relationship a secret is a mission in itself, but when the Protocol’s leadership begins to reconsider the no-fraternization rule, the choice between duty and love might not be theirs to make. Will their connection survive the battlefield—and the consequences of being found out?
