Summary
When Bernie applies for The Great British Bake Off she never expects to make it on the show. Somehow she does, and there she meets Serena Campbell. Between signatures, showstoppers, and not insignificant amounts of shiraz, Bernie and Serena become closer than Bernie would've ever anticipated. It's all awfully complicated though, what with the competition, the publicity, the stress of their jobs, and of course the fact that Serena is straight as an arrow and Bernie's quickly growing crush is wildly inappropriate at best.

Summary
This work is based on a prompt from @refreshingly-original (Ro), which you can find in the notes of the first chapter.
Master Berenice Wolfe and her Padawan, Dom Copeland, have been recalled from the Outer Rim to aid Master Hanssen at the request of Bail Organa to protect one of Alderaan's last great healers, Serena Campbell. Serena has temporarily assumed Senate duties for Alderaan to maintain provision of basic human services across the Core Planets, while Bail Organa begins the task of building a rebellion with Ahsoka Tano to resist the violence of Emperor Palpatine's regime. Senator Campbell has been working with Dr. Chonyo, a gifted Imzig scientist, to provide research assistance and intelligence gathering for the Alliance. Their work has provided a much-needed advantage for Jedi to move undetected across Imperial Space and within the heart of the Galactic Empire. If there is to be any hope for the Alliance, or a future for the Jedi, Master Wolfe must guard the Senator's life and work while confronting the threads of darkness within herself as she questions her own attachments, fears, and longings.

This story is the kind of twisty turny thing that sucks you in, it's sort of like a story black hole but without the bells and whistles of space and all that distracting physics algebra on a comically large blackboard (just to make sure you understand, this isn't in any way sci-if, relax)...It's a whodunnit with a romance thrown in, the whole gang are either nurses, teachers or cops and surprisingly they're all pretty versatile. Ahem, so as I was saying; you should read my fic. Because even if you think you have absolutely no interest in the perceived subject what-so-ever (thank you very much Harold!) when reading this summary you're still, probably, wrong; trust me on this. Seriously. Try the first chapter; what have you got to lose?
