Summary
They just got back from their own misadventure, something about El being brought back into a lab and the military chasing them. She should feel relief, which she does in some way, Mike's back with Will, El and Jonathan (and a long haired man she doesn't recognise), and they're safe; but there's no ease, no "lifting a burden of her shoulders" kind of feeling she had had once upon a time for her boyfriend.
Instead it felt like muscle memory, something she did out of habit more than needing to feel him in her arms, breathing, alive. What she quickly noticed though was the empty space where Steve's car had been, where she knew Robin was putting boxes filled with the Wheelers old belongings just moments ago. She didn't miss the moment disappointment settled in, nor who was the cause, she just couldn't figure out why.

Summary
Everyone talks about how hardship and pain was part of life, something like basic rules, but nobody warned her about how a heavy feeling could settle deep in her stomach. The weight of memories so old, it’s choking her awake and pleasing her at night. She tried to combine both past and present life. The all loving Mitsuri and a more selective Marinette in one lithe and frailer body. A fight between herself before and after remembering there was a time demons existed. A time were she could hold her lover, feel her warmth, enjoy her touch. Now, only loneliness caused by Shinobu’s absence grew in her stomach. And to make it worst, Hawkmoth got rid of those supposed restraint he had. Not to mention school. Her only solace was her dear friend, Kagami. Even tho, she felt this strange tug on her heart, as if a red string linked them together, Wisteria and lavender becoming her new favourite thing. Sometimes, she could swear she saw purple tips in her friend’s hair.
