Summary
Imagine two lines drawn randomly on a piece of paper at a certain distance from each other. They never intersect. But if you start extending the lines, they will inevitably intersect at some point. Lewis and Max's lives were like that. Outside of racing, their lives didn't intersect much. They would talk to each other occasionally, that's all. But life decided to bring them together from an unexpected place.

Summary
“Dinner or something, are you free tomorrow or Wednesday?” Max says. He rocks the cat back and forth in his arms. “I don’t know what you are doing these days”
Absolutely nothing.
“Charles” The omega presses. Charles jerks. “Wednesday?”
“I will message you”
“Please” Max sounds hopeful.
“Alright then, see you soon” Charles says, a little rudely. He opens the front door.
Max blinks. “Yes sorry, bye”
Charles holds the door for him because Max doesn’t have a free hand. He says goodbye but doesn’t even look at Charles as he leaves, completely fixated on Fievel and her spirited meows.
Yeah. He’s never going to see Max Verstappen ever again.

or, a lestappen 2037 future fic. Max and Charles are both trying to move on.

Summary
They were supposed to be rivals. On the surface, they are — two drivers locked in relentless battle, each crash and victory a headline. But behind the cameras and noise lies something far heavier: silence, bruises, and the secrets they can’t outrun.
Lewis hides behind composure, every scar on his body a mark of restraint. Max is consumed by shame, bound to the violence of his father and a desire he cannot name. When they collide, it is more than racing—it is obsession, punishment, and the fragile grace that binds cruelty to tenderness.
In the end, the greatest danger isn’t on the track, but in what they might finally admit to each other.

Beware the man who never loses his calm, because his obsession is the fire you won't see coming.

Summary
The first thing Lewis thought when he saw the kid was, fuck, he’s fast. It didn’t matter though, because he was fighting Nico for the championship and Max was in Toro Rosso fighting for points, but then Lewis blinked and Nico was gone. Nico had won, waved a smug smile and a title in Lewis' face and dissapeared off the grid, leaving him with a teammate who was young, hungry, desperate, in their silver car wearing their white suit sporting their Mercedes logo as a last fuck you to Lewis. There, you lost, and you lost me too.
Or, Max goes to Mercedes for 2017

Summary
Max finds out at the press conference.
Not in a private meeting, not in a phone call from Christian where he could at least have the dignity of reacting in peace—at the press conference, in front of the cameras, with his face already public property and Anna's hand pressing very lightly against his forearm like she could physically stop whatever expression was trying to happen.
