Peter Parker is the one who snaps, not Tony Stark. Peter is brought to Gotham, where he finds his "dead" father.
Mr. Stark’s terrified face was the last thing that Peter saw before a flash of bright light.
When Peter grabbed the Infinity Gauntlet, he knew that a normal human would die if they snapped. Peter saw how Bruce Banner was after bringing everyone back. He barely survived it. Peter couldn’t let anyone else sacrifice themselves for it; stupid Peter and his hero-complex. At the time, he thought, would it be sacrificing himself if he had a chance at living? He had to try.
