If you were to ask Jake English he'd say he lives a normal, if hectic, life after his grandmothers death; though it isn't too long before that normalcy is thrown to the wayside when he meets a mysterious boy in the forest. Growing up alongside this new stranger is like a breath of fresh air and brings a sense of adventure to Jake's life, but what happens when he finds out all he's done is follow the path set out for him long before he was born? Are any of these feelings his own or just a predestined checkpoint in an ongoing cycle?
