Everyone has bad days.
The days that feel like the world’s collapsing; like everyone and everything is conspiring against you.
Bad days happen to everyone.
But for Nagito Komaeda, they’re more than just pure coincidence.
Hajime’s luck did balance his out… sort of. No one died in freak accidents anymore, and nothing world-changing occurred when his luck was on an up-swing, either. But it still swung back and forth and continuously hit Nagito square in the nose, just like it always had.
Today was a bad day.

“Of course, I mean it’s strange that you’re here despite knowing beforehand that I would be here, and stranger that you would follow me into this secluded corner. Considering you’ve been avoiding me for the last three days.” Komaeda blinks, unrelenting.
( Or: Hajime tries his hardest to keep Nagito out of sight and out of mind after a night spent together in Hajime’s cottage, but on an otherwise uninhabited island that can only last for so long. )
