Summary
Tang Lan’s wings were as dense and smooth as muscles, and almost as adaptable as fingers. Their black surface reflected light like an oil slick, bending it into shades of deep indigo at the edges. Those massive appendages enfolded Hubbard on many a cold night. When fully extended, they were taller and wider than him. They were imposing. When they enclosed him, they smelled of all the intimate fragrances of Tang Lan’s body, particularly the scents that drifted up from the roots of his hair whenever Hubbard held him against his chest and rubbed his face into those intoxicating, soft strands.
Hubbard relished that scent. It was amazing how addictive intimate odors could be, when one loses the fear of becoming a part of another person. Hubbard survived because of those extraordinary wings. He could never be repulsed by them now. He loved them. -

Summary
Two years after the war, Harry and Draco are doing the best they can. They built a relationship on running for their lives. When things slow down, neither knows quite what to do. Harry thinks he's escaped the war in one piece and tells himself he’s one of the lucky ones. But as he and Draco face the ramifications of survival, it becomes clear that he’s still running for his life.
As they attempt to raise a child together, he feels strong enough to go after answers. Work for the Ministry leaves him picking up clues that hint of Snape's survival and he becomes obsessed with finding him. The curse that he and Draco suffered at different times, has given them a reason to try harder for each other and for their family. He will have to navigate a hostile past with Lucius Malfoy and repair damage inherited from his father, before his family can find peace. Before the end, he will have to see that his child constitutes and consolidates a Potter-Malfoy dynasty. *Note: Due to the complexity of their relationships, Harry will be intimately involved with Draco, Lucius and Snape at different times.

“Good. Get on your knees.”
Harry hadn’t gotten on his knees. Instead, he’d said, “Make me.”
That was one of his favorite things to say: make me.
So, Severus made him. He used his belt, gave him ten hard lashes, and made him count. Then, he yanked him to the ground against the edge of the bed and fucked his mouth. Harry didn’t tell him to stop, didn’t show sparks, didn’t beg for mercy. He just took it, and took it, and got himself off, and afterwards he said thank you, and snuggled up to Severus in bed until he stopped trembling.
He never said no. Never.
